standards. Incredible fast shutter

1/250

Nikon FM2 (
Extra Cameras )
I always
have a second camera and motor-drive around
my neck. I usually use black and white or color film in
this camera depending on what the bride & groom's needs
are. When needed I also employ a third camera

Hasselblad ELM (
Motorized unit)
Hasselblad
cameras are " world's best portrait cameras".
We provide both Nikon & Hasselblad. Nikon
is better suited for today's photojournalist wedding
photos
Hasselblad is perfect for studio environment.
With a Hasselblad, a 150mm lens is used for portraits
and body shots. A 60mm is used for groups and 50mm is used
for shots of the entire wedding ceremony
Hasselblad uses a larger negative. Large negatives are far
more expensive to print than Nikon 35mm negative

of Hasselbald Lenses which include; 50mm, 60mm, 80mm and 150mm

Filters /
Duto Filters
For Nikon I use the Duto filter
to soften images
when needed.
I also
use a Duto Filter occasionally outdoors with available light, again,
because it softens
the focus
ever
so slightly, gives a beautiful quality to a image
For
Hasselblad I use "Softer" filter
attachment,
which does the same

I use a Minolta 3, which is the workhorse
of the industry.
This light meter is used on both professional photo sets and out of

Fill
Cards And Reflectors
For bride & groom,
wedding parties portraits, I generally like to use available
light outdoors.
Along with natural light, I also use fill cards or reflectors,
which fill-in the light. Shots using are fill cards and reflectors
are done about one & one-half hours before a ceremony |
|
|
|
Location
Flash Photography Equipment
In some cases the
bride & groom need
to have portraits
& wedding party photographed at the alter inside
the church. In this case I use location flash equipment,
which consists of a 600 watt
Speedotron power-pack.
Power-pack handles up to four lights-heads
which are on stands with Bogen umbrellas |
|
|
|
Umbrellas, Lights On Stands
Bogen umbrellas & Bogen
heavy-duty location light stands are industry workhorses . They are very
reliable
quick to setup and easy to move once completely assembled

Soft Box
Soft Box is a 2'x3' fabric
box that fits over the light
head. This particular light head is designed for a Soft
Box which has a built-in fan for cooling.
I
use a "Soft Box" for portraits
of the Bride & Groom
or Bride alone. A Soft box gives a beautiful "soft" white light
that really makes the portraits look great
I generally combine this light plus a "Duto" filter
which gives a very slight softness to the focus.

Vivitar 285 Flash
For "On the Camera Flash" I
use a Vivitar 285 flash.
On-camera flash is used for pre-wedding informal
photos and reception photos.
The Vivitar 285 is a great flash as it has various power
settings based on the distances of the subject matter.
It also has an auto mode which I generally use, which
has a very accurate sensor for automatically delivering
the correct amount of light to a subject

|
|
|
Bogen Tripods
Bogen makes very solid expensive tripods(over
$400 ) that
are heavy duty and have great features like a plate that
screws onto the bottom of the Nikon or Hasselblad
which makes for easy and fast camera disconnects.
I use this tripod under low light conditions, such as inside of churches,
hall, and other buildings |
