New York to Seattle.
I was born in New York City, at the age of eight I developed a passion for photography.  I became the family photographer when the family went of vacation.

I continued my passion for photography into high school. In 1977 I won a "Proficiency in Photography" award

After high school I followed my dream to becoming a professional photographer.  I enrolled with one of the best photography schools, the "School of Visual Arts" in Manhattan.  I received my BFA Degree in Fashion photography ( 1985).  This educational environment was the key, as the calaber of teachers, student and work experience laid the foundation to my future success.  Visit the School of Visual Arts online at

While in college I photographed many public relations events for "YAI Group" based in New York. The "YAI" needed a photographer to photograph spokespeople for the organization. These spokespeople were athletes, actors and politicians. Photoshoots were mainly held at night so this worked out well with my schedule. Visit YAI Group online at:

In New York I shot many parties and functions, which included famous politicians; Governor Mario Como & Mayor Ed Koch.  I also photographed many celebrities including Dan Akroyd and sports legends like ex New York Giant football player Kyle Rote, ex Yankee pitcher Jim Bouton and many other people in sports

During the summer semester breaks from college I assisted Fashion Photographer Ned Harvey.  I printed out his B&W photos plus assisted in the studio.  His work included hair product shots and hair salon like Japans. After living in New York I moved to Seattle.  I set up a fashion photography company "William Ceriale Photography", I began shooting fashion photography for Nordstrom’s and various hair salons and clothing importers.

Along with the fashion photography history, I started "Baby Model of America" (1989) which was a national baby modeling company.  I traveled all over the United States photographing over 1000 portfolios of children per year.  Visit this reference link online at

Barbizon_history

From 1991 to 1999 I had an exclusive contract with seven Barbizon Modeling Schools on the west coast. My history includes over 12,000 modeling portfolios for teenagers- adults involved in acting and modeling.

I also shot many other types of Photographic Portfolios with Barbizon and  I taught several classes in Photo-Modeling and Commercial  Acting in Seattle. 1991-1999 .http://www.modelingschools.com

After many years of travel, hotels and being away from my young children,  I decided to do photo-shoots mainly in Seattle.  From 1999 to present I have concentrated on wedding and portraiture photography.  In the field of my history as a wedding photographer,  I shot my first wedding in 1979 while in college. Since then I have shot over sixty weddings.
